Hamrick Golf’s

Junior Development Program

Welcome to Hamrick Golf’s Junior Development Program, held at the beautiful and challenging Elkhorn Golf Club.  This program is designed for long range progression, it will not be completed quickly or easily.  Through this progression, all students will be driven to build their passion for the game and practice; along with learning proper etiquette and rules understandings. They will also develop the basic mechanics of the full swing and short game; along with shot making skills and their ability to focus and perform under all circumstances with comfort and confidence.   The program consists of 3 semesters that run from March-October.

Group Breakdown

Beginner (Ages 6-11)

The Beginner I  & II Groups introduces the student to the short game (putting, chipping, pitching).  Juniors will be practicing these short game shots, with an introduction into the full swing.  They will also be taught etiquette and rules required to play a higher level of golf.  To be invited to participate in the intermediate or advanced groups, the student must show a passion for the game and practicing, along with proper etiquette and rules knowledge.

**CLUBS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR USE DURING THE PROGRAM, but bring your own if you have them.

INTERMEDIATE (Invite Only)

Now that the passion and etiquette has been established, we take our short game skills to the next level, along with playing the course and attempting to pass our short game challenges. To be invited into the Advanced Group, the student must complete the required skills challenges (2X) and maintain your passion and proper etiquette.
